This is Anna and Elsa’s new home 🙂 I might have to make a second cage soon because they aren’t spayed (yet) and Anna is starting to g et bossy, but for now it’s this ^_^ I’m thinking of ways of just adding a second cage to the existing table, perhaps under it and such, but I don’t know yet.

The floor isn’t wooden, it has tiles on it for easy clean up.

          I really like it!

I am unsure how big they are, so I just wanted to double check if it was tall enough for them to parascope inside of the cage. I typically find one grid is not tall enough, and even my 2.5 lb neathie parascopes taller than 1 grid high.
I was also wondering if you have a way for them to get out of the cage on their own, without being picked up and carried to floor time.

Either way, it is very nice and clean looking, so pretty! Maybe just a few adjustments.

I don’t have any way of them getting out by themselves, my dad made the cage according to mom’s instructions and she doesn’t approve of bunnies free in the house xD BUT I’m working with more grids to make a cage connected to that one that leads to the outside. It didn’t used to be a problem for me to pick them up because they trusted me, and since I had them since they were 1 month old they got used to it, but my parent’s two months visit pretty much confined them into the cage permanently so they are pretty feral Gotta earn that trust again.

And if by parascope you mean them standing on their hind legs straight up, they do it all the time comfortably :3

Aaaand the addition I made stairs so they can come down by themselves and play in the safe area under the table

And yes >_> I’m using a panel from a fan because Im ONE panel short from covering it all XD

I’m a bit confused about what I’m looking at here so just want to ask a few questions for the bunnies benefit!

Well the table top by itself is in no way adequate for 2 bunnies, especially only 1 panel high. One rabbit requires at least 2ft x 4ft space and a height big enough to completely stretch upwards and jump in. I’m glad you’ve added more space, but I don’t really understand the space. You say there is stairs but all I can see is grids and they aren’t safe for the bunnies to walk on. If the stairs are made of grids then they need to be covered with something like cardboard, carpet or linoleum attached with zip ties. If it’s just the grids then the bunnies could get their legs caught in the squares and break them. I’m not sure if that’s what I’m seeing, but just want to point it out anyway, they need a solid surface!

It’s really important for bunnies to be able to come and go as they please, they aren’t like other animals and being picked up is something they fear. They may seem like they comply by staying still, but this is usually fear – though every rabbit is of course different.

Also do they have hay and toys? The cage looks really bare, I understand you may have nothing in the cage because you just set it up and took a photo, but I just want to make sure you know the importance of 24/7 unlimited hay access, and toys to chew on. Something that would be great here are cardboard boxes with holes cut in them for the bunnies to hide in and jump on. Easy, cheap and really fun for the bunnies.
Bunnies don’t really “play” the way other animals do, they enjoy chewing and ripping things, so playing in the empty space under the table is not enjoyable or stimulating for them unless they have things to do.

Please have a look at this section of the sites for ideas on how to improve their living space

Just want to add something . . . The black plastic pieces that come with the grids are ok to make cube shelving with, but aren’t really sturdy enough for a bunny cage. You should really replace them with zip ties and make sure to criss-cross the zip ties at every corner and everywhere that 4 grid corners meet (except the door hinge). The zip ties make it super sturdy.
