Hi, so I have this problem with my bunny Lina. She got darker teeth all of the sudden… I give her much hay and a lot of veggies (carrots, cabbage…), and she never experienced that kind of problem before… We were at the vet like 2 weeks ago and she gave us this antibiotics, for the eye, because she had sore eye canal (or something similar), but the eye has improved since, but now her teeth look dark/black… I want for her to have nice, white, long teeth, like she used to have. I don’t know what to do, what do you think?.. Can this I somehow whiten her teeth? I want what is the best for my bunny. I think that she is lacking some of the vitamines, but I’m not sure what vitamines and what is lacking… I don’t think that she is in pain or anything, she isn’t behaving extraordinary or anything, she only has this bad teeth problem. Thanks in advance!

Did you try rubbing the teeth to see if it’s permanent…it kind of looks like food particles to me.

yes, It’s not food on the teeth… The teeth is actually colored that way… I can’t get this thing off, neither is anything on the teeth, also it feels like a normal teeth, on touch it’s the same… But the color is blacky… Don’t know what to do

I think it’s a good idea to have a vet take a look at them…might be an infection.

I don’t know… I was at the vet just the other week (2 weeks ago) and he didn’t say anything about that… Also I think that her teeth are not the right length… How do I know if they are the right lenght?

I would ring up the vet’s office to see if they made any notes from his last check about the teeth and if they had any concerns because you notice they are discolored and you don’t feel they are the right length.
