Hey guys! I love to look at other peoples cage setups, and I figured other people probably do too. So, post a picture (if you have one), and describe what your cage has in it. My cage is a 30″ high x-pen. It is set up in a four by four square. One corner is his Hidey house, the other is a litter box, one corner is empty, and the last corner has his water bottle and two bowls. There are toys on the bottom of the cage, and fleece is the flooring. I unfortunately have no pictures. Above Midas’s litter box is two hay racks, one is store bought from petsmart, and the other is home made, a tube with holes in it. Hopefully you get the idea of how my cage looks, haha.

Here is the setup for my bonded pair. It is pieces of 2 xpens put together. The bottom is a 4×8 xpen; in the bottom left corner is 1 hayrack and litter box, in the right bottom corner is the food area (pellet dish and water bowl) and a grass mat, while the middle is pretty open and covered in toys. They then have a cottontail cottage, which is how they get up to the second level. the second level is extra xpen sides zip tied and resting on wood dowels for support. They have toys and a tunnel haven on the second level.  Under the second level is another litterbox and hayrack in the far right corner (a fiddlesticks bridge in front) and in the far back corner is a second grass mat and a ramp thing for the cottontail cottage.

The floors are puzzle piece foam mats covered in blankets (changed a bit from this photo)
I only added this because the second level is structurally built from the xpen, but they aren’t standing on it!

That cage setup is amazing. When I have more space, I want a set up like that. I love how instead of a ramp to your second level, you have the cottontail cottage.. That’s brilliant, haha. I am so going to do that when I add a second floor to Midas’s cage.

That’s a great setup, Brittany! The buns must love it.

Thank you guys! Yes, I think they do love it. The tunnel is their favorite place to sleep during the day, so they get the extra exercise running up and down to cottontail cottage to get to it!
