It is officially been a week since I got Midas, my Holland Lop. Last night, probably at midnight or so, I could hear his cage rattling. I didn’t really think anything of it. Earlier today, I was in my bedroom cleaning the room, when I heard the cage rattling again. I looked over to find Midas pulling on the tip of his water bottle. He does this when he is drinking from it. When he pulls on it, the cage bars shake slightly. Is there a reason he does this? Or is he just playing?

I think it is frustration. All of mine do this with water bottles, they will pull on it and scratch at it.
I have changed two of my buns to water bowls, big ceramic pet bowls, and I need to buy a third for my new mini lop because he is doing it too.
No frustration with water bowls just putting feet and ears in them haha.

Thanks I have wanted a rabbit for a while. And I also have a bowl, but he doesn’t drink from it. I thought it was just because the water doesn’t come out as quick as he wants it to, haha.
