I often see many of you posting about your bunnies flipping their litter boxes over, moving their litter boxes all over the place or maybe even food or water bowls!! I know the struggle of having to clean all this up every time

Of course zip ties work but that becomes a pain if it’s an item you are constantly taking out to clean.

        SO!

VELCRO! Get heavy duty velcro patches, cut it to the size you need & stick one side to the bottom of the litter box or water/food bowl & the other part to the floor where you want the litter box or bowl kept my bunnies don’t mess with the velcro patch at all while the bowl is removed. It’s been such an awesome solution for me Mimzy likes moving the litter box & Obi-bun just can’t seem to leave the dishes alone Hope this helps someone!!

Porky is a food spiller.  Worse, he always spills his pellets where he can’t reach them.  I got him a bowl for his pellets that clips to the side of his condo.  They didn’t have them in the small animal section, but I happened to pass by them in the dog section.  It has saved us a fortune and untold amounts of stress by preventing pellet waste.

It’s similar to this one, but I don’t think it’s this brand, the reviews say this one has sharp edges on the clip but Porky’s doesn’t.

Midwest Stainless Steel Snap'y Fit Water and Feed Bowl, 10 Ounce

Not that I remember what brand Porky’s is.

Velcro is a great idea. Ox likes to toss his litter box around so I just clip it onto the side with a binder ring. He used to toss around his water bowl but I switched it out to a heavy ceramic bowl. You can see the huge bowl in my avvy. Those clip bowls also look like they could be really handy.

I did it!! Got industrial strength Velcro from Joanne Fabrics and attached the litterboxes to the floor of the “kitchen/bathroom” crate. This morning, litterboxes are still in place! Yay!! Score: Me 1, Moshi 0!!!
