        Hello everyone!

Do you celebrate your bunny’s birthday? If so, how and when? I have marked my bunnies’ birthdays based on the day I adopted them and I make sure they get extra snuggles and treats on those days.

Mine usually get a few “presents” of new toys or treats, wrapped up in brown paper so they can “unwrap” them. I also usually make a veggie cake, and the birthday bun gets extra treats and snuggles.

I photograph them and post in the BB lounge-section so they can get congrats from bunny-owners all over the world =)

I too have chosen their arrival to my home as their birthdays, since I don’t know how old they are.

Yohio got a jelly bean or two for his birthday.

We will be celebrating with homemade treats, extra snuggles, and new toys! Also, more play time in general on that day :3 (I think we might even do this on Christmas…. >.>)

I’m like bam (he he he he). I pick (good grief! lol!) Henry up for his birthday photo and post his pic on BB for all his bunny friends to get gushy and post their congratulations (and surprise that he survived another year, ha ha ha). Then he gets puts down on the floor and run’s off after a foot flick to show his distaste of being picked up! Lol! Then he gets extra treats throughout the day – but I must do LEL’s paper bag present thing – it sounds awesome! (Thanks for the great idea LEL!).
Oh, and I will do the same for Christmas too Flabebe – last year he ditched us and spent the day under my bed! Boring bunny!

Lol. maybe hes just waiting for his ultimate Christmas present: the Christmas tree!

And I have to agree; the paper bag idea is fantastic!

We wrap their presents in chewing brown paper and give them a chance to open it, and they get nearly full run of the house for as long as we possibly can Our bunnies birthdays are actually 4/24/2011 (easter sunday!) so we celebrate their birthdays on a day we know we won’t get visitors, it’s all about them…and the birds join in the veg party, hehe
