  Hey guys – need help.
  
  Merlin and Luna have been getting along fine – no territory fighting, they’re left out together free roam pretty muvh 24/7, they snuggle, eat together and recently went in the carrier to the vets together. Theres still some chasing and Merlin mounts her quite a bit, but she hasnt seemed stressed by it at all.
  
  However, tonight there was a MASSIVE scuffle under the bed (where they like to sleep) and Luna had mounted Merlin! He was struggling and recognising the warning signs I separated them and Luna shot off and hid in another room. What on earth? This happened about ten mins ago and Since then they have loafed together and Merlins tried it again, but to no success.
  
  Should I separate them again? Why have things suddenly gone south?? Auuugh!

  Sometimes things just happen. What do you mean by a “massive scuffle?” Was anybun hurt?
  If it happens again, you can try to stress bond them a bit to stop the scuffles, but don’t separate them if they have been getting along otherwise. How long have they been together?

  All I hear was strugglings and noises, not screaming, but definite irritated noises! No one hurt, some fur pulling and nipping but no skin broken. Its been ok today…. Luna has started honking at Merlin, I think she needs to be fixed as he’s neutered and she isn’t. But overall, no scuffles and some humping. Gah!
