So we’ve had our two bunnies, an older male, Momo (almost a year and a half) and a younger female Luna (8 months old) bonded for quite a while now with no issues. However, we just moved cross country in a car with them in it, were on the road for about a week with constantly changing environments for them, and then stayed with friends who also had a bunny (they didn’t interact directly but did see each other through their pen) for about two weeks, and have now finally settled in our permanent place where they have an exercise pen in one of our bedrooms that’s about 5ftx5ft.

Tldr: We have been on the road/out of normal home circumstances for about a month an a half with these guys and are now finally settled down.

SO, once we got to our new place and set up the buns in their exercise pen, I noticed that Momo has started mounting Luna fairly frequently again. She clearly doesn’t like it and will thump her feet/run away from him, etc. I’ve seen him do it quite a few times now and I’m kind of concerned about it. Is this normal behavior for them? Are they just re-establishing their hierarchy in a new setting? Did seeing the other bunny throw off their dynamic? Should I just keep an eye on it for now and see if it works itself out on its own before intervening? Help!
