Just a quick question, Merlin and Luna have mostly got through the rough patches of bonding. They eat from the same bowl at breakfast, eat hay together and even occasionally snuggle. Merlin has mounted her a few times, and she doesn’t seem to mind for a few minutes before flipping him off (though I assumed its because he’s mounting her face…. might have to have The Talk with Merlin XD)

However, after reading some articles on the internet, apparently chasing is a bad thing? Merlin still chases Luna a lot, usually honking. I assumed its because he’s feeling amorous and she isn’t and I haven’t tried to stop it as she doesn’t *seem* too stressed out.

Am I wrong? Is chasing bad and should I stop it?

I also have been wondering the same thing because now that I am threw the rough stages like you my boy rabbit Usagi will chase Kilala my girl rabbit. I guess maybe just watch for aggressive chasing. My rabbits are in the living room during bonding sessions and my husband seems to think its okay because Usagi isn’t being aggressive. I can tell a difference too. If she isn’t running scared and being stressed out by it maybe its ok. Mine are in an expen together during sessions and when I feel the chasing that occurs is bad I turn on a vacuum I have on stand by.
Hopefully someone who has some bonding experience can give you more help. Best of luck!
