Out of curiosity tonight, we decided to introduce Biscuit and Obie on a formal bundate. We have been trying to get him bonded with Caesar and Roxie, but it’s been slow going. The date went quite well. There was a. Lot of snuggling and grooming, no dominance dances or mounting. We’re moving their cages beside one another tonight.

I’m curious though….is dominance mounting a must? Can they figure things out without all of that? Maybe thatv will happen on the next date. Biscuits not a mount-on-the-first date kinda girl.

          How exciting!
No, Mounting is not a must. Some bunnies just fit together well enough that the dominance order is “pre-defined” and they don’t feel the need to show dominance.
