Fox didn’t make it through her spay. She seized coming out of the anesthesia and we lost her.
Over the weekend, we adopted a young adult neutered male that had been abandoned by his family at a pretty store. He fills the hole left in our family. We’ll start bonding soon. Here’s hoping Pond likes him as much as I do.

        Everyone, meet Pitch.

The kid took Fox’s death hard. She insisted we get another bun, and she chose Pitch.

I am so sorry for your loss. Fox was such a darling. ((((Binky Free Fox)))) Thinking of you and your family.
On the other hand, big congrats on the adoption of Pitch! He is so cute and I can tell he is so happy in his new home!

Oh mossling….. that is so incredibly sad – I am so sorry! Gosh, I still remember how excited you all were when Fox came into your lives not that long ago. And I totally understand your kid’s needing another bunny to love – my kids (they were 3 – 8 yo at the time) did the same when we lost our precious girl Molly and we got a new boy Molly a while later – we were fortunate to have him for 15 years. I wish you and your family the same fortune with Pitch.

Pitch looks like he is fitting in beautifully – I LOVE your photo’s! (thank you). Enjoy!

            (((Fox)))

I’m really sorry you lost Fox. She was darling.

Pitch looks like he’s settling in well.

Thank, y’all. I really miss Fox and her super snuggly fluffiness. I am glad we brought Pitch home, even with all his destructive pain-in-the-buttness.

I didn’t realize you lost Fox. I’m so sorry.

Pitch looks like such a sweetie. It looks like he’s getting along with everyone well.

I am so sorry that Fox did not survive the spay. That is heartbreaking… (((Binky free Fox)))

Pitch is a beautiful bunny. I am thankful that, despite the tragic loss of your girl, this beautiful boy was able to find a loving home…

Mossling, I’m so sorry, I’m just seeing this now and you have my condolences on the loss of Fox. :'(
Pitch is a beautiful bun! Good on you for bringing him home as black bunnies are often the least adopted (for what reason I cannot possibly imagine.)

(((((((Hugs)))))) to you and your little girl. It’s sad when something like this happens when you’re trying to do something good for a pet. But I hope she’ll bounce back with her new friend. xx

Pitch looks like he’s got a gentle soul. Fitting right in by the looks of things.

***Binky Free Fox*** I’m sorry to hear of this mossling. Too short a life but her passing would have been very peaceful. I hope Pitch and Pond help you all deal with the loss.
