Came home today and coco gave me his usual kisses, but there was a disgusting bitter after taste. Apparently my parents bought bitter spray and sprayed it on the skirting of the house which is where he nibbles a bit. I am concern that it might not be safe for him? As i have read that not all bitter sprays are suitable for bunnies or effective cause they apprently like the taste of it.

The brand is ruffus n coco, it says it is a non toxic and oil spray, and is safe for DOGS. Says nothing about bunnies or other animals.

Is this a safe product?! Does anyone know?! :/
        Thank youu

I can’t vouch for its safety, but I can say that the bitter sprays often don’t work at all, as Coco demonstrated by getting it on his breath from chewing anyway.

I’d recommend that your family stop using it, and mix up a batch of 50/50% white vinegar and water in a plain spray bottle. (get one at a dollar store, etc.) Spray on the baseboards. It is a smell that bunnies do not like, and may keep him away better than the bitter. It won’t smell up your house because the mild odor goes away for humans in just a few minutes.
Better safe than sorry. Use the bitter on dogs, as directed.

It says the active ingredient is bitrex-which is totally fine http://www.rufusandcoco.com.au/dog-products/chew-stopper-quit-chewing-bite-stop-dog-teething

You can certainly call the company though and ask or email -the website even has live chat http://www.rufusandcoco.com.au/contact-us
