I started giving Lulu the Urinary support tablets made by Oxbow as she gets UTI’s a lot. I decided to give her the digestive support tablets as she also gets stasis a lot. Well, I didn’t look and see that the digestive support tablets had .55% Calcium in them!!! She is so sensitive to the calcium in pellets that if she has a tiny bit she gets a UTI. I’m afraid that the digestive tablets have given her another UTI. Since bonding my new bunny Ebony with Mocha and Lulu there has been some bad litter habits but in the past couple weeks it has gotten extremely worse! Like 2 new pee spots every couple hours!!!   They have been bonded since February and their litter problems should have gotten better not worse which makes me think it could be a UTI. Here are my options:

        1. Right now they are being kept in their cage with me cleaning it every day to get rid of all the pee accidents. I am hoping that if it is behavioral it will go away.

        2. Separate the bunnies to make sure it is Lulu who is the one peeing outside the box.

        3. Invest in $400 worth of webcams so I can monitor them 24/7 to see who is peeing…. That’s a joke but it would be really cool if I could do that! Hahaha!

The closest exotic vet is over 2 hours away. I have one in my town who “sees” rabbits but isn’t super knowledgeable about them. I have taken Lulu into her for a UTI before so I am sure I could take her there if she needs to.

I think if you could separate them for a few hours that might be the best option to see if it’s indeed Ms.Lulu – why don’t you just separate her from the 2 others first and see if she’s the culprit and then you can go from there.

Ok! I will separate her later.

Just commenting on if this doesn’t turn out to be UTI.

I saw your clicker /agility video if Ebony. Fantastic! There was some of Lulu to I think.
Have you tried some positive reinforcement work with her & the litter box?
