Hi everyone! Flash had her first play date with another rabbit. Flash will be turning one in 15 days and the male rabbit was about 5-6 and he was SO calm! He could be picked up without hassle, didn’t run away if you tried and he was so good! And flash is so hyper compared to him! Is it because she’s still so young? Will she eventually be calm like tubby?

They do mellow a bit with age, but it also has to do with personality. Some bunnies are more skittish and don’t like to be held (more majority) and some are mellow and don’t mind (rarer).

I have had my bunny almost 2 years now, he is about 3 or 4 (I adopted him and his age was an estimate), and he is finally starting to feel comfortable with me to let me pick him up to snuggle, and he has FINALLY slowed down on his chewing of the walls and everything else in sight and instead chews his toys I spent what felt like millions of dollars on to find one he will actually chew

Not sure if that is helpful but maybe in a couple years your bunny will be less hyper and skittish.
