        So Cash was neutered yesterday.

And I noticed some things, and just had a few questions about them.

1- He is eating fine, especially hay and fresh veggies, but he will NOT touch his pellet food. :/ Not a single bite. Normally he loves it!

2- His poops are much smaller than normal. Normally they are about a tenth of an inch in complete circumference. His poops now are hard, and slightly sticky, and absolutely tiny.

3- He keeps going to sleep underneath my desk. But his eyes roll back and I can see the whites, just a tiny bit. Normally his eyes are completely closed when he is asleep. Does this maybe have to do with the painkillers they sent home that he is on??? Or just a weird coincidence?

4- He keeps pooing the cecotropes like normal, but they are larger, less smelly, and seem to be a lot stickier than normal. ((I triple checked and yes they are most definitely cecotropes.)) Once again maybe just because of the medicine???

Other than these few things I noticed eh seems to be fine. He is drinking a ton of water, peeing normally, and is even more snuggly and friendly than normal. All he wants to do is cuddle now.

He isn’t even grinding his teeth, or showing any signs of noticing he was neutered.

          1) Pellets are usually the last thing they start eating after surgery. Think about it – humans always want light foods when they are groggy and in pain after surgery too. Pellets are very rich. As long as he’s eating hay and veggies, he’s fine!

          2) That is normal and they should go back to normal size / shape etc in a few days.

          3) He is high on pain medication and probably still groggy from the anesthetic.

          4) I never noticed that in mine, but I wouldn’t be worried about it. He is eating less and his system will be off for a few days after surgery. As long as his normal poops are not runny.

            Phew thanks Sticker!

Was getting nervous! Never had a bunny before, so this is new to me!

One upside is he doesn’t seem to notice or care that he was snipped. No attempts to tear at the area, no tooth grinding, so that I’m pretty happy about!
