So Bugs will be 4 months August 12th and he’s now started spraying EVERYWHERE I have to wash my bed blankets more than once a week because he can now jump up and pee on the bed, he also sprays everywhere on the carpet in my room, and now he’s stopped using the litter box as well and peeing and pooing everywhere but the litter box! So I made a call to make an appointment to get Bugs neutered and they told us we Must wait 6 MONTHS! I’m not sure I can deal with Having to wash blankets and clean his blankets and the carpet for another 3-4 months. What do I do? Is their anyway to prevent him from spraying my bed and carpet?

I would call some other vets! It sounds like he has hit bunny puberty and there should be no problem with neutering him at 4 months.

If Bugs is indeed male then at 4 months he should be able to be neutered. If the vet is not willing to do it until he’s 6 months I would restrict Bugs to an area that isn’t going to be ruined by his spraying. I understand the struggle, I went through this with my little ones too. I feel as if the inconvenience is worth the wait to get the procedure done by a vet you trust.

I’d be looking at another vet honestly. If you don’t wanna relocate him ful time to another vet, you can just tell them that yours told you that you needed to wait six months and you just can’t. Or try local spay/neuter clinics. The humane society near mine did Cash’s neuter, and did fabulous. And for a lot less expensive than his vet would have! Literally a two week wait.
