Bunny lives in doors and I can’t seem to stop flies coming in

I clean out her litter tray every day and her cage is generally clean. I have tried lavender plants on the window-sill, fly strip hanging down and citronella and there are still 5 or more flies buzzing around my living room every time I open the window!

Any hints or tricks to at least minimise them coming in?

        Thanks

I found Mortein Natureguard in the automatic sprayer finally solved my fly problem. Neighbours have a large dog and don’t pick up after it so flies were a huge problem here last summer… If you don’t have Mortein I am sure you have an equivalent. I put mine in the kitchen away from the bunnies but it eventually got all the flies as they buzzed past. It must be a pet safe aerosol insecticide though.
