  Hello All,
  I have been on this site previously but for the life of me I can’t remember my user name or password. Plus it’s been awhile and my herd has changed quite a bit. But here is my question. I had a trio which kinda formed itself. It started with a bonded pair which I actively bonded. Benny and Flo, a male REW and an agouti girl. They were together for about 4 years. One day I go to check on them to find my Dutch rabbit, Rupert, cuddling with them like nothing was different. So he just moved in and bonded himself. A little bit over a year later Flo passed away leaving my two boys together.
  Rupert is 9 years old and Benny is 7 years old. I tossed around the idea of getting a third rabbit but hesitated because I didn’t want to stress out my seniors. Well for my birthday this year my boyfriend got me my “dream rabbit” a blue Flemish giant which I named Remy. He is only a little over 3 months old and it’s already bigger than both my other boys. I figured I might try to bond him after he is fixed (the other two were a long time ago). Well I come downstairs one day to check on them and Remy has jumped out of his cage (dog xpen) so like 3ft high, and jumped into their xpen. And no one seemed to care! Immediate I got him out but I keep finding him in there. I know once the hormones kick in things can get rough but is there any harm in letting them live together now? I plan to neuter him as soon as he’s ready but I believe I have another month or so to go. In the meantime I do let them run freely together and interact while supervised and I put another foot of cage on top of the xpen. Any thoughts on bonding seniors and baby? And all three males? A little of topic too but my rabbits all run around with my dogs (supervised only) and they all get along great, any harm in dog eating rabbit poop? Just curious. Thanks again!

  As Remy is not a baby bunny anymore, it would probably be best to keep them separate. Any day now he could enter into his “crazy teenage bunny” stage, which can cause fighting, and any fighting now could lengthen the bonding later. It is, however, a great sign that they seem to get along at this point.
  
  I don’t think bonding seniors/babies is much different than bonding other rabbits. You just have to work with individual personalities.
  
  Poo shouldn’t hurt your dogs. A little fiber is always good, right?!?!
