Sooooooo hello guys! I have a rabbit that I got about 3 weeks ago, Called him Pepper, I don’t know how old he is or what breed he is, Can anyone identify the breed and age for me from the picture ? And does anyone know how big he will be when he is fully grown? I hope he won’t stay this big

He looks like an American to me, however I have little knowledge on rabbit breeds so I could be completely wrong. It wouldn’t be surprising if he were a mix, especially if you got him from a pet store.

Not sure on his age either, but he looks quite young. I’m positive he has some more growing to do.

I’m sure some of the other members on here will be more helpful than I am!

I have the feeling you’ll get your wish… His face does look young… Do you know his current weight ? You can get a rough estimate by stepping on your bathroom scales alone, then step on the scales whilst holding him.

He is beautiful – I do believe he may be a larger size rabbit but I have no idea at all the breed but most likely a mix of some kind.

He’s probably just doing them when you aren’t looking.

He looks pretty young. The ear size does suggest he will be big.

It will be much easier to guess breed when he’s older. For starters, size is a good indicator of breed. Also though, many breed characteristics develop gradually as bunny matures. All bunnies are born with up ears, lops ears don’t flop till they are couple or a few months old. Baby bunnies are born bald, including ones who will be super puff balls eventually (in your case he’s old enough you’d know by now if you had an english angora though, so not likely to become a super puff ball.)
