Ok…. our newest addition, Finnly, will flop then lay there for some time.  then out of nowhere, she’ll jump up, squeak, and run gangbusters in her cage (Hate that word).  Anyway, the worst episode was when she was “running” as she lay on her side.  I mean FULL OUT BUNNY SPRINT!  Her eyes were closed as if she were asleep.  Then out of nowhere, she flips to her feet, squeaks,  jumps so hard and high that she hit the top of her cage, runs about 3 lightning laps around her cage then stops. She was instantly back to being a normal bun.  Has anyone else had a bun do anything similar?  Is this a common behavior?  My older bunny Dax never did this so we are at a loss.

        Thanks,

        Sarge

That is odd. It could be that she is just having random bursts of energy. When was her last vet check?

I’ve seen my dog do some crazy things in her sleep (running, humping, wimpering, barking), but never one of my bunnies!

              Squeaking?
Bunnies don’t really make noise apart from a low honking, grunting (aggression usually) or screaming when in pain. I have never heard squeaking before so I don’t know what that means but it will be the clue here as to why this is happening!
