Hi everyone! So the past few days I’ve noticed flash hasn’t been eating all her pellets. She has access to unlimited hay, I leave her 1/8 cup of pellets in her bowl to eat when she pleases. Usually she would have it all eating in a 24 hour period but the past 3 days it’s been taking her maybe a day and a half to eat them all. She just finished a course of 9 days of antibiotics maybe that’s why? I have been reducing her veggies since she hasn’t been eating the pellets. Should I not worry and still feed her 2 cups of leafy green? She sees the vet in a couple days to check to make sure she has no infection from the spay. ( she chewed her stitches in a knot :p)

I would continue feeding her normal amount of veggies, unless you notice runny poos. Is she still eating lots of hay?

Did you recently open a new bag of pellets or is it the same bag you were feeding before.

I wouldn’t worry too much. The antibiotics may have reduced her appetite a bit. Just make sure to mention it to the vet.

I agree with LPT. I have found that after a spay that pellets are usually the last thing they will eat – don’t know why but it is.

I opened a new bag of pellets probably about 4 days ago cause the old one was empty. Same brand though @LittlePuffyTail
