        Hello,

We recently adopted a beautiful lion head rabbit.  We believe she is approx 3 yrs old.  Any tips on litter training?   She doesnt seem to get it.  currently she has a corner litter box in her cage and we’ve avoide putting “litter” in her cage (except for the litter box). Any help would be appreciated!

Corner litter boxes are really too small. Rabbits like to sit and even lay inside their litter boxes, eat hay in them and sleep. I’d suggest getting a regular-sized cat litter box and placing it where she has been going. Any accidents should be cleaned up with like a paper towel and then place the paper towel inside the litter box to help her understand.

It’s good that you have kept the litter in the box. If there is anything else in the cage that she might be peeing on, you will want to take those things out until she gets the idea. Some rabbits will pee on soft things.

I agree, the corner litter boxes are too small.

              Is she spayed?

So I took a little tidbit of information you gave and cut up a blanket we had for her into smaller pieces and put those in her letterbox.   It has worked pretty well so far!  You mentioned that bunnies like to pee on soft things and its true.  I really dont want to change the size of her litter box as we are trying to avoid her laying in her pees & poops.
