        hi,

at the moment i have one rabbit Cookie, but i am considering getting a second. my dad told me that if i get a second my rabbit that i have now won’t love me as much, is that true? and my rabbit is female so if i got a second should i get a male or female (they will both be spayed)

        thanks stacey!!

Your bun will love you just as much but may be pretty interested in the new bunny.

I’ve heard male-female bonds are the easiest but I think it really depends on the bunnies. Your best bet would be bunny dating at a local rescue if there’s one you can get to — that way your current bunny can choose her new friend.

Just keep in mind that two bunnies need twice the space as one, and that you’d have to keep them separated until both are spayed/neutered and the hormones have died down.

          Happy bunparenting!
