Please help!  Mr jingles is currently 9 months old.  He was very easy to get liter trained and within two days he was 100% using just his liter boxes. He was neutered three months ago.  Well last month I decided to allow Mr Jingles to has free roam in my bunny proof house at all times except when I am am not home or at work.  Previous to this he was cagged at night as well.  For the first two weeks, he was great no issues at all.  Once or twice a night he would jump into bed to just make sure I was there.  All of a sudden two weeks ago, I was using the toilet and Mr jingles sat down on the bathroom floor next to me and peed on my floor.  I put him in his liter box and told him no(he listens to no, out, and come).  Then a few days later, I was reading in bed and he peed on my bed right next to me.  So I had to put him back in his cage for a few nights.  Then this week I let him out once again at night everything was great until Saturday morning he once again peed on my bed.  Then last night again as I was going potty, he peed on my bathroom floor. He has also started to poop all over his cage when he is locked in his cage during the day.  Can anyone tell me what is going on?  What can I do to have him trained 100% again.

He’s getting territorial and he wants to mark all of your house, his. He’ll probably not be 100% litter trained again, but you can certainly make him better about it.

You need to confine him in his cage until he masters the litter box or he and you will get nowhere.

Pick up his poops in front of him and put them in his litterbox. Wipe up the pee with paper towel and put it in the litterbox. Do this until he starts only going in the litterbox. You can than let him have one room of your house, see how that goes, and then let him have the run of the house if he goes in his litterbox. You can also put litterboxs where you notice him going a lot.

Thank you! He needs to get back into his old habits. He will only pee in my bathroom (only when I am on toilet) and on my bed. Any other time he uses his liter boxes. I feel like it’s a spiteful act but not sure what he wants.
