I have had my dwarf rabbit since she was young. I have been working to littertrain her for a while now. I put timothy hay in her litterbox and have her water and food there too. She pees only in her litterbox — which is good. But she still poops everywhere. I have read its a way to mark her territory… but it is a lot of pills. Would spaying help? Someone help me.

Yes. Spaying will defiantly help. Also you need to spay her for health reasons, if you want her to live a long healthy life. It is a way to mark territory. If she is doing it all in one area, move the litterbox there. Put the poops in the litterbox in front of her, so she will understand where to go. What living arrangement does she have?

When I was training my bunny to go in her box I’d just pick up her poop and pick her up and say, “No” and then put both of them in the box. Once she does it correctly just praise and give treats. And I’d have to agree Mocha, spaying would definitely help. It was like day and night when I got my baby spayed. She would growl and bite and wouldn’t let me pick her up but then when I got her spayed all that stopped. It was great 🙂 every other training was a lot easier

I agree spaying will help to some degree. my female still leave a few poops around one of her litter boxes but it did get a lot better. Do you have more than one litter box? That may help as well.
