I have two spayed female rabbits-yes they are both spayed and yes, they are both female.  I took them in for spaying because Duchess kept attacking (humping) Trixie relentlessly.  We are about 3 months down the road now and she still goes through spurts of this vicious humping cycle.  It lasts a few days and then they are the best of friends again, cuddling even outside their cage when they have plenty of room to be apart.  Is this normal?  Trixie really seems to hate it and I don’t know what to do to help…I have a separate cage and split them up when it gets really bad, but they don’t seem to like that either…

It may be just normal. Sometimes even the best of bonded bunnies hump each other sometimes. As long as it doesn’t escalate into fighting, it should be ok.
