So I bought this bunny I named Coco at a pet store a couple of weeks ago, and the lady said he was a lionhead/dwarf lop mix. I was fairly certain he wasn’t at the time, because he was just such a friendly little guy that I could care less. However I am starting to get kind of curious what breed he is.

I was told he was 2 months old when I got him, and he has grown a bit since then.  His body really hasn’t grown a whole heck of a lot..but his ears and back feet are huge. I have a mini-lop which is full grown, and Coco’s back feet are just as big. His ears are actually slightly bigger!

The attached picture is from right after I got him. That was a month ago. His ears are now even taller..over 3 inches tall in fact!

The way his eyes look, and the height of his ears almost look flemmy-ish, but he’s tiny even for his age..I think he’s definitely a “dwarf rabbit.”

        Anyone have any ideas?

The picture doesn’t seem to be attached. Can you try to attach it in a reply to this?

Just based on your description, could he be a New Zealand? A large, uppy eared rabbit, usually with really large ears. Your standard “big white bunny”, but they can come in any color.

Oh! I missed that he is a lop! He could be a lop mixed with a larger breed rabbit then…
