I got my indoor rabbit and he seems to be playful he jumps around and everything and plays with me but he always tries to lick me and find a place to bite, the bite doesnt hurt but its quite annoying as it shocks me and can have temporary 2-second pain..

How may I stop this, he doesn’t seem aggressive he just wants to play.

I do not know if he is a male or female.

I do not know if he is spayed/neutered (And i do not know what this means)

Try making a squealing noise, this will let him/her know they’re hurting you.

Spayed/Neutered means the same as fixed or desexed. It means they can’t have babies!

My Moshu used to bite me several times a day when I had newly brought her home.. I noticed that was when I had tried to put her in her cage for too long and tried to pet her while she was in her cage without letting her out. Its their way of telling they dont like what you are doing..If you are trying to hold her or pet her too much, refrain from doing that till a few weeks. I know its difficult not to pet them because they are so cute..but you must wait till she develops trust.

Rabbits may bite for several reasons. The can do it to get attention. They can do it to communicate distrust or as a defensive action. You have to look at it in context. A bunny may bite to say: Hey, pet me! Or Get me a treat! To a person that’s idiotic and if a dog would do such a thing, you’d have to have it put down most likely. But in a bunny it seems like it’s a perfectly normal way to get the bunny point of view across. The darling biter may even look totally surprised when you seem to take offense.

Defensive, scared bites are usually more severe.

If squealing helps, that’s great, then it’s probably “attention-bites”. Half-hearted defensive bites can go away with time. My Yohio could bite me for almost a year but less and less, now he’s stopped. If I don’t get up out of bed and give him breakfast when breakfast is over-due, he may still try a tiny little nibble just to get me moving though (we sleep in the same bed).

He comes to me, he licks my hand feet fingers everything, then when he gets to a tipped-skin, like for example the tip of my finger, he tries to bite, it doesn’t really hurt, but i don’t want to make a squeeling sound, he may never lick me again and i like it when he does that

He’s still biting, now it’s even a bit harder and he looks for a place to bit faster.. What sign is this.. is he scared or what? cause he comes to my hands i don’t go to him. he’s a lovely sweetheart he likes to hop around and everything.
