Biscuit has a tuft of fur sticking out below her upper lip. It looks like it may have some hay stuck in it, like a mat? She just finished a round of Baytril and she had a bit of a sticky spot on her mouth where I squirted the medicine. Maybe it’s collected some fur bits? Do things like that resolve themselves?

Fortunately she seems to be feeling better otherwise. Lots of binkies today.

If that’s all it is, it will likely resolve itself, but if you can, you may want to help her by gently rubbing it with a warm, wet washcloth. Glad she’s doing better.

I find something similar on Oscar sometimes. A tuft of fur sticking out somewhere around his mouth, when I pull it out there’s a light brown piece of something stuck to the end, holding the tuft together. I always wondered what that is?

Bunnies often get these little tufts with a root that eventually comes out. You can remove it if there is no resistance, otherwise don’t tug. They can show up on their faces, or near their tails, etc. I think LEL’s advice to help with a warm washcloth is the best next step.

Kieko had a sticky clump of fur like that after a vet tech gave her laxatone (never again) one time. I didn’t find it until that evening and it had dried. I used a warm wet wash cloth for several days on it ans finally ended up having to let it grow out. It seemed to bother me more than her!

Nelli gets actual matts on the fur nex to mouth sometimes- she’s a fuzzy lop. It’s next to impossible to trim it cuz she’s pretty jumpy and I don’t take chances with bunnies and scissors, so I let it grow out till it’s easier to remove.
Bun gets those” roots” on his cheeks like RabbitPam mentioned. They’re little hard bumps that are very tempting to pick at, but I let them be and gave my husband strict orders to leave them alone as well! They come out as little white things with a tuft of hair attached.
Unless the bunny is bothered or it looks like there may be drainage from the mouth or a wound, I would just watch it.
