        Hey All!!

I’ve been wanting a bunny for ages, and finally talked the landlord, roommates and boyfriend into letting my get a brand-new baby bunny! We don’t know the gender yet, as the pet store said she/he was only 8 weeks old, but I’ve been referring to her as “my wee girl” for the time being, and probably will continue to do so, even if she turns out to be a he! We got her a week ago, and she’s really warmed up quickly to us! She’s friendly, inquisitive, and LOVES to be pet! Having her nose and ears pet is her favorite thing, and she will stop whats shes doing, lie down and happily grind her teeth as she enjoys the attention!

I’m new to bunny-ownership, so I’m pleasantly surprised at what intelligent, affectionate and bold creatures rabbits are. When I first got her I wasn’t sure how easy it was going to be to interact with her, but her personality is already shining through!

I’m having a bit of a hard time litterbox training her, she seems to use it sometimes for peeing, and then other times will go where she wants. And she leaves bunny-berries ALL over the place, and never in her litterbox! I guess patience is the key with young buns.

Anyway, we are still trying to figure out a good name for her/him. We’ve been calling her “Merlin”, but aren’t 100% set on it.

Does anyone have any good name ideas for this little grey bunny? I know the pictures are rubbish, I’m bad at bunny-photography!

O, and since these photos have been taken one ear has flopped down, so she might just be lop-eared! We’ve no idea what breed or mix of breeds she is!

s/he is adorable! I think the names Willow, Shadow, Misty, Bullet or Jaxon would be cute.

I would look up a video on youtube on how to tell the gender of your bun, because there gender can be determined from like 4 weeks of age and over(something like that). I got my bun the day she turned 8 weeks and I had already known her gender for 2 weeks before that, so you could tell your bun’s gender for sure now.(If she’ll let you look lol )

If you new the gender you could better plan on fixing costs and so on, (females have an 80% chance of getting cancer before 2 and higher risks the older they get if they aren’t fixed.(I forget the types of cancers) )
              Hope I helped.

                      Awesome ideas, thanks guys!
She/he hates being picked up, and I have no idea how to get her calm enough to lift ip her bunny skirt and check it’s gender, but maybe I’ll check the video tutorials and give it a shot!
                      Thanks!

I don’t know how reliable this is, but in general I have noticed little boy bunnies tend to get their pee up on the side of litterboxes (or walls, etc), while with little girls it tends to go straight down. Or you could take him/her to the vet for a checkup and let them tell you 🙂 He/she is gorgeous regardless!

Ash, Ashlynn or another variation might be cute..
