I’m beginning to think we have a carnivorous bunny. Biscuit, age around 4 months, has developed a habit of chewing on us. She’s not really biting hard, just gnawing at fingers and toes. I had her out to play today and instead of running around playing. she climbed all over me, gnawing on me. I think there may have been a couple licks along the way too. I’m hoping its just a phase and she will outgrow it. Everybun else has overcome biting/nipping. Are babies nibbly by nature? Oh, she also is putting everything in her mouth. She walks along the floor, picking stuff up and chewing it, sometimes spitting it out, sometimes not. Almost like a real kid lol.

Zombie bunny! Yeah, thats normal, theyre love nibbles! Shea grooming you in her own weird way. However, cute as it is you might want to dissuade biting and nibbly behaviour because as she gets older shel bite harder.

Yeah, I’ve noticed she’s licking more along with nibbles. I remember the other buns being sort of the same way. Now I just get chins rubbed all over me with some licks and grooming from them.

Young bunnies like to explore with their mouths. Perfectly normal.

Your best bet from my experience is let bunny nibble and give you a little grooming, but be the alpha bun when the nips get too hard and slightly pinch/nip her but or side like another bunny would do, maybe make a ‘sssss’ sound with the nip pinch, it will let bunny know she’s being too dominate and aggressive and treat you more like an alpha bun.
