How do you know of your rabbit loves you? And how
do you know when you’re “bonded” and you have
        your bunny’s full trust?

Both ours come to us on their own looking to be petted or to “kiss” us. Both “groom” us (Licorice does so much we call him Licky Boo-Boo.) Chipper prefers my 7 year old probably the best, and Licorice my husband. But both bunnies seem to enjoy attention from any one of the four of us. At night after the boys go to bed – Licorice seriously prefers to sleep outside their bedrooms in upstairs hall, or now that it’s blocked off for bonding – he’s been lounging on the living room rug, and Chipper cuddles up right between me and my husband. =)

Buns are going to have different personalities. What Katscarpena described would definitely indicate that a bunny trusts its owner. But not all bunnies are “cuddly”. That is simply their personality, that doesn’t mean they don’t trust you. Mine will let me approach them and pet them. I have to step around them sometimes when I walk because they refuse to move from their flopped positions. They don’t come to me for pets though usually. Sometimes Leopold will get in my lap, but I really think he’s just looking for a treat. LOL
