        My dad (and..me too, actually ) wants to know if its safe to feed seeds to rabbits.

        He has melon, water melon and cucumber seeds (dried) and we want to know whether or not they would be toxic to rabbits, like apple seeds are.

          I’m not sure about those types of seeds specifically but in general, seeds are not recommended.

            I haven’t heard anything about those seeds. Bird seed is definitely not recommended. Can you ask your vet?

              I used to feed Henry pumpkin seeds and when I told the vet his frown indicated that I shouldn’t. And once I became a BBer and found out that most seeds are a no no – I just found it easier not to give him any sort of seeds at all. Took the worry away real easy, ha ha ha, and Henry doesn’t miss them at all. Cheers.
