Ok so to warn you i have alot of questions. So first a little info, his name is larry he is about 13 months old and i got him from a shelter.

1: since he was at the shelter he actually doesnt know how to play, he has started a little is there some way i can help him?

2: every so often i randomly hear him chattering his teeth, its completely random and he had his vet checkup not too long ago so i dont know whT it is should i be concerned?

3: floortime has been a struggle with him, he never comes out all he does is sit in his cage, his cage wall all opens up and his cage is at ground level so he can roam as he pleases, i have carpet on my floor with a flanel sheet on top and he has practicly my whole room to run around in ( i have a pretty small room) i have had him almost a month and heh as only come out about 3 times, anything i can do?

4: what do your bunnies like to eat? I feed him unlimited orchard grass hay, oxbow timothy pellets, and his veggies which are : dill lettuce of all kinds, parsley mint and cilantro what else can i feed him?

5: what is the best way to clip his nails we try holding him down but its a struggle and i dont want to put him in a trance since he is pretty scittish.

        Fr now thats all thanks!

He knows how to play, you may just need to encourage him differently. Try different toys, such as hanging toys, cat jingly balls, baby toys, or homemade toys.
Bunnies chatter their teeth sometimes when they are content. If it is quiet and doesn’t sound like he is in pain, I wouldn’t worry.
He may just not be comfortable. You can try to coax him out with treats, but if you are quiet he will come out when he’s ready.
You can feed him lots of things! Here is a HRS list of good foods:http://rabbit.org/suggested-vegetables-and-fruits-for-a-rabbit-diet/
You can try “bunny burritoing” him or you can put him between your knees with his head facing outwards, bend over him, and pick up a foot.

He probably just want to play in his own way if he wants to play at all. When you say this, exactly what do you mean? He doesn’t like to play with toys? Many rabbits don’t.

Well the extent to his playing so far is: he. Hewed on some chewy sticks for a while once. He will throw things (he doesnt do it much but its the most play he has ever done) and EXTREMILY rarley when hes aloud out for floor time he will zoomy and binky, but again he almost never comes out. I habe another question what like time should he come out for fooor time because he seems to be most active around 10:00 pm but im not aloud to stay up that lTe every single day so is there any other time? Thanks!

Well, he sounds like he just likes to play when he wants too – I wouldn’t worry, he sounds perfectly normal to me.

Many times buns are active early morning and evening. Bumpy adjusts to our schedule, thankfully. He’s active usually between 8pm and 2am and kinda piddles around any other time. No matter when I get up and come into the room with his pen, it’s time for him to be awake in his eyes. Bumpy doesn’t “play” very often now either, he’s about 1 yr old now. But we still catch him binky or bunny 500 every now and then. He’ll play with his stacky cups maybe once a week. Maybe roll a ball for a couple seconds.

Other than that, I’d say his favorite game is “make the bunny slave give me treats”.
