        Hello everyone.
My rabbit today jumped in my flower pot and started digging the soil and ate a little soil.

        Will he be okay?

Is that an expected behavior for house rabbits?

Rabbits like to dig so that is normal. I wouldn’t worry about this.

A little soil is no problem, but if you have poisonous indoors pot plants you should put them where your bunny can’t reach them. Wild bunnies know “instinctively” what plants are ok to eat but pet bunnies may have lost that instinct through breeding.

Yes, this is normal behaviour. He will be fine.
If you think he enjoys digging, you may want to give him his own bunny-safe plants in organic soil.

I would only be concerned if it was sprayed with very powerful pesticides.
