Hi everyone! Since its getting pretty warm out I bought Flash her own little fan. Do you think this is a good distance from her? Its not too close? Will this help her keep cool? Is it safe? A/C is not an option unfortunately and we only have one fan and that comes with us in our room at night. I tried the frozen water bottle but she kept biting it and didn’t really want to lay near it, I even tried wrapping it in a face cloth and then she started biting the cloth and thought it was her toy! LOL silly girl

Yes that should be fine, as long as she can’t chew the cord hen she’s out playing.
You could also try using ceramic tiles for her to lay on, they stay cool and you can even put them in the freezer.

If it gets really really hot, you can spray her ears with cool water.

It’s a method we haven’t put into practice yet as we’ve just bought one of these to try and aid with out heat issue.

              Evaporative Air Cooler

It’s only 17°C outside, but, we’re on the fourth floor with two outside walls that are in the sun all day, so it can be upwards of 26-28°C at the hight of the day.

Only had the cooler plugged in for about 30 minutes (it only arrived today) but it’s already made a big difference in the bun room.
Will be moving it around the house to give everyone a break from the heat, though.

Thanks everyone for the good ideas! I woke up this morning and she was sleeping in her platform right under the fan she looked so relaxed and happy! I touched her ears and they felt nice and cool!
