        Hey!

We got two baby sibling bunnies last Thursday, woman we bought them from said they were 8 weeks, though they didn’t look 8 weeks when we got them, more like 5/6. Could anyone confirm this?

Also said they were mini lop cross lion head, but no sign of the lion.

Though this woman breeds from the mother every months, which is ridiculous, stupid woman, they are healthy (super skinny when we got them), always binkying, running around and super tame.

        When we first got them:

        Now:

        Thanks!

They are cute – it’s hard to know exactly how old they are or their breed at this point – I think you probably have to go by what that woman said.

I feel very sorry for the rabbit she is breeding – if she is a backyard breeder there is just no telling the mix of rabbit.

Congrats! They are just gorgeous! That being said, they do not look like either of the breeds that lady told you, no floppy ears or long fur like on a lion head, and truthfully they look a lot like my Pepper at that age, except black, and she is neither lion head nor lop, lol! And the local Kahoots Pet store by my house always has 8 week old baby bunnies of various breeds and you can tell the lion heads are lion heads and same with the lops. But either way they are just darling and again congrats to you and your new additions to the family!

No idea on the breed, but they sure are adorable!

That makes me really sad about the mother. That’s animal cruelty.

They don’t really look like lionheads to me. They may lop later, but at this point, your guess is as good as ours.
That is truly very sad, what is done with the mother bun.
                Your new bunnies are ADORABLE!

They look a bit like our baby lop, he is about 6 or 7 wks old and when we got him all his ears did were airplane. But now they have gone straight as pins. And both his parents are very lop. They have that cute baby bun face!
