I noticed that my bunbun’s urine is a bit… Thick. It has the consistency of watery cream you could say. Anyway, I read a lot into it and apparently it can be from too much calcium..? Yet I read that alfalfa hay is good for young bunnies because of it. Is this good? Or how can I encourage him to drink more water? Thanks!!

My bunnies have this problem too. The white stuff you see is extra calcium, so you were right.
I don’t think alfalfa hay will solve the problem. Only baby bunnies should be eating this.
Most bunnies like drinking out of a bowl rather than a bottle. They can take larger sips. You can add natural flavors to the water (mint, plain apple juice, etc.)
Make sure your rabbit doesn’t have bladder sludge, this needs a vet visit.

Oh I know the hay isn’t supposed to help I’m just saying that its probably that giving him the extra calcium.

He also has a bowl, I will try the natural flavoring! He is definitely going to the vet soon for his shots c: thanks!!

The hay could be the cause of the extra calcium. Even if he is young, I would consider transitioning from alfalfa to Timothy, it doesn’t sound like he needs the extra calcium in his diet.
Encouraging increased water consumption is a good idea, as well as a vet visit.
