Tonight finally I saw that Gorgi had pooped on his little box, however it was fairly small – maybe the size of a pin head (of course rounder) anyway ~ my question is; is it appropriate for his age and size ffor his droppings to be that small? Thanks!!

How big is he, and how old?
That seems too small. I think he is new, correct? It could be caused by stress, if it doesn’t increase in size a little bit in a day or so, go to the vet.
It is always a good idea to take new bunnies to the vet for a wellness check.

I’ll need to measure him but a good estimate would be a foot (maybe, could be a little less ) when he stretches. And i suppose the comparasion wasn’t on the dot the droppings were about the size of like the little pellet things some stuff animals are filled with. They arent like super tiny but they are small compared to normal grown rabbit droppings.

BUT i do plan on getting him to the vet soon for his shots! C:

Sounds like a hydration issue too…. I agree with LEL a vet check would be the best idea and they can give extra fluids to help things along… In the interim you could try some moist aromatic greens like basil, nasturtiums or coriander… I would only give small amounts and one kind if you are unaware of his age or what his previous diet included… Baby buns don’t usually start on greens till later unless they have been use to eating them in the beginning (like my terrorists) but it is a great way to get them rehydrated if they aren’t drinking water.

Good news you guys! Gorgi’s droppings look much better now so I’m assuming he was just tired last night and waited for the morning c:!!!

Still, I plan on taking him to the vet soon and getting all his vitals checked! Thanks!

                  That’s great news!

I was wondering about hydration as well. Do you give him water in a crock or a bottle? Crocks are usually more natural for a bunny and can encourage them to drink more.

He has a little bowl – my friend who also has a rabbit told me that the bottles messed them up and that his bunny accidently poked his eye with the dropper D: so to avoid that I just got Gorgi a little bowl and he seems to drink from it quite a lot… Mostly after he has some hay c:
