My baby is about 10 mths old now.  I want to switch him to adult food soon so I can feed both the same things.  I know you need to transition over a week or two when feeding a new brand but what if I stick with the same brand, just go from baby to adult?  Still need to transition?

        Thanks!

Yes you should still do the transition shelmstr1. I did when I changed Henry from the food that the breeder gave me to the Oxbow young rabbit food and did the same when he was 6 months old and bought him the Oxbow adult rabbit food. I did it over 3 weeks in total (cause I actually ran out) and all was good. Cheers.

Yes, it’s still a good idea to do a transition. The longer the transition period, the better too.

The recommended transition time is usually about 3 weeks.

Week 1: 1/4 new food, 3/4 old food.
Week 2: 1/2 new food, 1/2 old food.
Week 3. 3/4 new food, 1/4 old food.
              Week 4: All new food.
