I am new to bunnies, and I have a few questions about the crate size. I have an XL dog crate, its 48″L x 29″W x 32″H. It also has two doors. I found two breeders in my city and i will be getting either 1 or both of the bunnies! as this being my first bunny im leaning towards getting just one and also i dont think i have enough room for two. My question about my crate is do you all think it is big enough for one bunny? or possibly two? Im getting a holland lop and/or mini lop! do i need add another story? thanks!

The XL dog crate would be slightly over the minimum size recommendations for a single rabbit. I don’t think it’s big enough for two.

We use to use a dog kennel. It’s fairly easy to add a shelf to give them more room. I wouldn’t house two buns in there, though.
