Do they appear to be unhappy when this happens? As if he is hurting them?
I don’t know a whole lot about buns cleaning each other, but I would say that the girls should be able to
let him know if he’s doing something wrong! Lol. Like I said I’m not very sure because I only have one bunny and
haven’t had to bond boys and girls. But I don’t think it’s an issue if hes not hurting them.

I think it’s pretty normal for bunnies to be thorough with cleaning each other’s eye areas.

like i said it’s not just the eye area it’s the eyes as well. the girls dont seem bothered but last time benji did it to Amber he looked like he was really going for it and Amber just sat there, luna just sits there and gives him the evils. was just wondering if it was normal for rabbits to clean the eyes itself because it just freaks me out

Like licking the eyeball itself? I don’t think they do that… are you sure the bun being groomed isn’t closing the eye? Other than that, I guess they could be cleaning the third eyelid, but I have never heard of bunnies doing this. :/

Oh mine groom… and they groom those eyeballs well on the other bunnies. Sometimes I’m pretty sure Fleury looks like he’s face deep in someone elses eyeball. I wouldn’t worry unless you begin noticing loss of fur or irritation from overgrooming

What TL said. Lol. Mine groom faces and eyes and unless you notice they’re over grooming it’s okay.

hmm didnt even know rabbits had third eye lids I’ve basically just noticed him doing it and the girls eyes look ok at the moment but I’ll keep an eye on them. it just amazes me that they just sit there while he does it and benji is the first rabbit we’ve had that does it
