My spouse and our long-eared family of 4 are currently living in CA but it looks like we’re making a solid attempt at getting up to Washington this year if all works out. More specifically we’d be moving to the Tacoma, WA area. We have a home here in CA but my job might not allow moving assistance so we’d likely have to get an apartment for a while….yuck.

Does anyone currently live in the area or around (Gig Harbor, Federal Way, etc.) know a contact I can reach that could reccommend safe and rabbit-friendly apartments? I’ve called at least 4-6 places and only found one that was receptive to bunnies but their reviews are….questionable. I called a rescue up in Gig Harbor and we can afford to board two there while we work on getting a house but it’ll be a fairly large hole in my wallet. The woman at the rescue was going to email me with apartments but she never got back to me

        Any help would be appreciated!

I have no advice, but I just wanted to bump up this thread so you will hopefully get a response, and to wish you good luck.

Thank you! I did find two locations so far. One is decent and in a good area and another is really nice but the price tag is frightening. It was just so weird how rude people were as soon as I mentioned rabbits, probably lack of knowledge and stereotypes they’ll chew everything >.>’

It may help if you mention that your rabbits are desexed and litter trained. It may also help if you put down a bunny deposit for any damage.
Let us know when you find somewhere.
