        Hi everyone,

Looking for some help with my lop Peanut. Bought him around 3 weeks ago from Pets at Home in the UK, and was told by the girl that he was around 8 – 10 weeks old. She also told me he was most likely a cross between breeds.

im wondering if anyone could narrow this down for me, 3 weeks on he is now 11 – 13 weeks old and I’d really like to know his exact breed. Done some internet research but can’t pin him down to one breed. I understand that different breeds of lop can vary dramatically in size. I am happy and able to provide for him however big he gets, would just be nice to know! His ears have grown noticeably over the past 3 weeks but he is still fairy small. About 20 cm from nose to tail. (He won’t sit still long enough to weigh him!)

I have attached a few pics for you.  The ones where his ears are one up one down are from 3 weeks a go, and the pics with both ears down are very recent.

        Any help would be appreciated!

        Thanks

I agree he is most likely a mix but it`s hard to say. Most pet store buns don`t get too big. There are more members here more knowledgeable in breeds that may be able to help you out. I just wanted to say he`s super ridiculously adorable, whatever breed he is.

              He’s lovely!

Yes if the pet store person said he was a mix then I think he’s probably a mix.

Well he has Harlequin coloring and he’s a lop. Aside from that, it’s really just a guessing game :~)

Thanks guys, he has a lovely personality. Very confident around humans for such a young bun. As soon as I saw the 1 up 1 down ears and stripe down his face I was sold. Had never heard of harlequin before!!

Looks just like my mom’s bunny which is a mini lop.

His face isn’t as rounded as a Holland, so probably not purebred. A lop mix of some kind for sure. Or if he gets a little bigger, then perhaps mini lop. Hollands top out at 4lbs and minis top out a 6.5lbs.

I love his harlequin pattern though, so cute!

He doesn’t have the ” Holland Lop Face” , but he does look like a Mini Lop or a Mini Lop mix to me. Nevertheless, he is absolutely adorable!

I agree a mix lop, although I am not very knowledgeable in breeds.
Other than that, he is ADORABLE! Welcome to the forum!
