So Felix and Mortimer were both neutered today. The surgeries went very well and they came home right away. Is it normal for them to be really sleepy afterwards?

Completely normal. Tomorrow they should start perking up more and eating again

yes. Bumpy kinda went into solitary-mode when we brought him home afterwards. He slept pretty much the following 12-18hrs, aside from a couple nibbles. He didn’t eat much that day, but the next day we could tell he was feeling better. He moved around a lot more and was interested in his food. Since we lived so far from the vet, he also sent us home with a 3 doses of pain meds. We gave 2 doses, but he began to fight us on day 3, so didn’t force it on him.

              How are they today?

Wow, its been a while. They recovered quickly and are doing very well! Unfortunately I had to get rid of Mortimer but he is happy with his bun-wives and his new mommy. Felix loves being the lone bun but I am going to try to get him a bunwife, if he is interested.
