I’m sorry in advance idk if this should go in habitat and toys section or not. Anyway. I’m done rabbit proofing me whole room besides for this one section. I decided the best thing to do is just block it off. But I don’t know what to use that’s cheap, cardboard is too small baby gates are too small and they wouldn’t fit right. The area is in between my closet and bed so there is nothing to attach something to. Any ideas? Thanks

Do you have a tall cardboard box? That is what I used.

Yes! I second cottontails suggestion, Cardboard is FABULOUS for making barriers. We have it under our desks to keep the buns from the wires and used to use it to block the kitchen when Pepper was a baby to keep her from going in there and from the back of the entertainment center. I get cardboard boxes of all sizes @ Walmart for dirt cheap, I’m talking like under a dollar even for a HUGE box that with an exatco knife you can make fit anywhere you need.

We blocked computer wires with cardboard. Porky broke through one day and had every last on cut in seconds.

I’d make something with NIC grids.

Turns out my mom found some old science fair cardboard things that fold up and I will duct tape two or three together. Thanks for your concerns btw eep but my bun will be supervised the whole time (going to the shelter on Saturday!!!,)

We use sheets of thin plywood – cheap to buy in all sorts of sizes and just that bit more permanent and durable compared to cardboard.
How exciting!!! Have lots of fun choosing your baby on Saturday Whobott. Cheers.

Porky was supervised when he broke past the cardboard.  That’s how we know he was only back there for a few seconds, that’s how long it took us to reach under the desk and drag him out.

Lucky bunny he didn’t electrocute himself.

Wow buns sure are attracted to cords huh? One time my hamster opened his cage door (idk how because I can barely open it) and he was out in my room for maybe ten minutes idk because I didn’t know until he walked down the stairs trailed by ny two cats my point is he didn’t chew any wires lol.
