I adopted my first bunny yesterday from a friend who could no longer keep him (money problems). He was well taken care of, but as far as I know, he was only fed pellets and hay, no greens. I’m trying to transition him, but he’s not eating them. It’s not an emergency, as he is still eating pellets and hay, but is there any way to get him to eat the greens?

What greens are you feeding him? Try feeding him herb type vegetables that have a lot of smell such as cilantro, parsley, mint, dandelion, etc. Here is what I feed my rabbits (2 rabbits).

          Morning and Evening
1/4 Cup of Oxbow T Pellets
          3-4 cups of mixed greens
A giant handful of timothy hay
          Fresh water

          Also, how old is he?
