My ten-year old bunny is turning eleven in two months and for the last year or so he has noticeably slowed down quite a lot. He hasn’t been as eager to come out of his cage as he used to be, but he’s always managed. Today however, he’s just running around in circles acting very confused, even when I’m using his favourite food to draw him out.

What’s wrong with him? Is he in pain or is this some strange kind of bunny dementia?   Should I go to the vet?

EDIT: He’s also been hanging his head to his left side for a couple of hours now. Maybe a balance thing?

I would take him to a vet for a full evaluation including bloodwork. It could be a multitude of things and a vet exam is the only way to really know anything.

I would get to the vet. I don’t know, but to me it sounds like head tilt, maybe an ear infection or something.
