I’m looking for a good vet in SF that is affordable. The few on yelp with 4 stars and better ratings were going to charge me $500 to Neuter!!! Is there a better way? maybe a shelter that spays for cheaper? Or just a vet that isn’t insanely priced?

        Thanks,

Happy Momma of Frisco Da Bunny

First things first… I love your avatar picture!

Have you checked out the vets from the House Rabbit Society list?
          http://rabbit.org/rabbit-center/local-rabbit-veterinarians/

The only low cost clinic I could find was one recommended by East Bay Rabbit Rescue.
For Paws Spay and Neuter Clinic in Fremont. Too far?

I seriously just can’t get enough of his little bunny bun bun, tail and fluffy feet! He kills me!! I’m in love!

Thanks I’ll check them out! A little drive is better than $500!

            Thanks again!

              Welcome!

VERY CUTE bunny tail!  Love the Avatar

The House Rabbit Society Headquarters has recently opened up a low-cost spay/neuter clinic. Here is the info.

              House Rabbit Society
Fix Our Bunnies – Monthly Rabbit Spay/Neuter Clinic
              148 Broadway
              Richmond, CA 94804
By appointment, 4th Monday of Every Month
              510-970-7575
Cost: $50 female/male, $10 microchip with free lifetime registration (optional)
              Available to anyone

I know it’s not in San Francisco, but Richmond isn’t that far.  You just have to deal with the nutty traffic around the curve and then again at the 80 split, that makes it seem like forever…. and of course, the bridge toll on your return. But hey, get your favorite relaxing music, and you’ve got great views of the water to and from, and it won’t seem toooo bad.   You can’t beat $50 for a neuter/spay with a rabbit savvy vet!

                That’s fantastic BB!
I noticed on the HRS site they’ve now listed low cost spay/neuter clinics. I was surprised to see they didnt know of any for that area (that was what was written). Hopefully they’ll update the listings soon.

Thanks everyone! He just started to get a little territorial over one of our carpet mats in the bathroom, so I think it’s time before any more aggression starts. All and all he’s great and I love his little butt so much! haha Wish he liked to cuddle a little more, but o well can’t have everything! Although when he gives me little kisses on my hand and arm I just melt!

                          Thanks again!
