Okay so I just went in to check on Theo and I saw in his litter box and on the bottom of his cage kinda stringy poos! it is like a piece of poop with a line of poop and then another poo (sorry for all the poops I could not figure out to word it ) He has been molting and I stopped rubbing him with water a couple days ago because I thought he was done do you think he is not done!?! Should I be worried?

        Thanks

        Anne

Generally it isn’t anything to worry about. Those pearl strands come from ingesting fur. Too much fur in their system and not enough hay could certainly cause a problem. But as long as their hay intake and water intake are good, you shouldn’t need to worry too much. Just keep brushing him to cut down on loose fur. You can also try those papaya supplements that are supposed to help break down hair in the gut. Not sure if they truly work or not, but they won’t hurt at all.

I think Oxbow makes one. Some people use ones meant for people. You want to check the ingredients though to make sure there isn’t stuff added that may be harmful.
